Update on the criminal mischief investigation of the 2021 Jeep Talk Show Gladiator.
The security camera footage has been checked into evidence of the Harris County Sheriff’s Office. HCSO.
I have a quote from a collision repair shop for $2800 and that doesn’t include replacing the sticker on the hood from Underground Graphics. That’s approx another $200.
Doing a Google search says that in Texas this criminal mischief is now a felony!
Next time you decide to act out on your frustrations, consider that it may cost you your freedom. The perp is facing up to a $10,000 fine and two years of jail time.

Alright Jeeper, there is nothing I hate more than form with no function.
So if you’re like me, and you’re sitting there wondering what you can do with those non-functional hood vents on your 2018-2023 Jeep Wrangler JL Rubicon… Well, I have a kick-ass solution. For the low “must-have” price of $370, you can put some functions where there used to be nothing. Replace those useless do-nothing hood vents with LED lights. No, not some big ugly pods that go in their place and would stand out like warts on a peach, but different hood vents with a built-in LED array inside them. Now some of you might be saying “but Josh, those vents actually DO serve a purpose!!”
For those of you concerned, know this… each assembly effectively maintains proper airflow and allows heat to escape from the engine bay. And in case you’re thinking that the price tag is pretty steep for some cheap plastic hood scoops, well, they’re not plastic. Each unit is made from heavy-duty steel and the high-strength lenses were built from shatter-proof material. In addition, each assembly was E-coated for corrosion protection, and then powder coated in a rugged, textured black finish.
So not only are they built rugged, they look the part too. If that’s still not enough for you, how about the included lifetime warranty? Yeah, now they really ARE a must-have.
