Two thumbs up great podcast always find an entertaining learning new ideas tips and tricks as well. Can’t get enough. Thanks a bunch Kevin from Colorado. I hope a haste Blazer with Jeep Wagoneer axles is close enough to a jeep lol

I found out recently that many podcasts are seeing significantly lower downloads.  On the order of 27% less.  Seems Apple changed the way you can download episodes.  If you haven’t listened to those download episodes they turn the auto download feature off.  It’s good if you’re not listening to a podcast, but what does it mean when you have nothing to do and go to listen to a show and you’re not connected to the internet?  You’re SOL.

MOORE Expo

I went to the Moore expo here in Springfield, Missouri on the 19th and 20th of April. We were in the Hella lighting booth, we did a collaboration with them to show off their new lights.

The place was full of everything overlanding if you wanted anything from camping, trailers, or any of the gear you might want to go with it.

I even took a test ride in a Rivian, and I don’t see myself buying an electric. But the build quality was very good.

I looked at several tow-behind trailers, and the price is still a shocker. It made me appreciate the camper Matt in the Zoom room built.

We bought a couple of things there, a tool roll from Atlas 46. And a storage system that attaches to the back of your seat from 23zero, even some cool mounting suction cups from Sea Sucker.

There was everything from mild to wild, we were looking at two behind, it had a small cabin that had a full-size bed in it. There was an air conditioner in it and a big awning also.

Once you plug into 110v or turn on a generator, you could be comfortable.

There was even what I think was a Ford 550 with a camper on it, it had all the amenities and was only $460k.

This was the fifth year for it and it just keeps getting bigger. While I couldn’t bring Duke, this year they let dogs in.

I’m looking forward to the show next year, and if you want to see my footage of the show, you can see it on our YouTube channel Jeepingmo.

Okay, good, excellent.

In Fabricating Frenzy, Jeeping Mo goes to the More Expo. Was it more or less?

It was quite a bit more, actually, with two O’s.

No, no, no, must have stuff for your Jeep. Passenger Grab Bar Tray. You have any idea what I’m talking about on this, Larry? Do you have one? I don’t know, but if it’s a grab bar and it’s a tray, that means there’s room for snacks. Well, for somebody. It might be, well, I guess you had a Slim Jim that would go in there. Hell yeah.

Hi, I’m Larry and I went to a big overlanding show.

No bragging. No, you’re not.

All right, so let’s get started with this. We have not done a review in some time and I think largely that’s due to we just haven’t been really getting any. Do you know that we have received two Apple reviews this year?

Really? Yeah, it’s really surprising. I don’t know if it’s because we stopped talking about reviews. I mean, everybody loves hearing their name or hearing what they wrote or hearing the response or it’s just people are just tired of giving us reviews. But anyway, Kevin mud sub. Yeah, yeah, it’s that I was gonna say dub, but it’s actually Kevin’s mud sub. I call it entirely different. Yeah. A Colorado native two thumbs up for a great podcast. Always find it in entertaining, learning new ideas, trips and tips and tricks as well. Can’t get enough. Thanks a bunch. Kevin from Colorado. And he says, I hope a haste blazer, not sure if that’s the right word or not. But hey, I think it’s a half a half blazer with Jeep Wrangler axles is close enough to a Jeep. So I really love this. I mean, absolutely. It makes a complete sense to me when Jeep owners listen to the show because it, you know, the name Jeep talk show, but I’m just blown away when people, we’ve heard people from that have Toyotas or people that bought a Jeep because listening to the show and this guy’s driving a blazer and I bet you it’s one of those full size blazers, which I just loved the whole square body stuff was just so cool. We cover all kinds of topics that it’s not always just cheats, right? So we get all kinds of areas of it. Yeah. And that’s the thing. And I’m glad that this, this appeals to people. And I guess I don’t know if there’s any square body podcasts out there. It’s not anything that I have. I mean, I had one many years ago, but it’s the only thing that I follow now. So I don’t know. How cool would it be to have an old square body blazer though? Those things, you don’t see many them around anymore. Right. Well, it was really cool because you could, it had a fiberglass top that you could take off so you could literally drive around topless in a blazer. So that was, that was really cool. I don’t think that the front part of it came off. I think it was just the back part. Right. Just the back. It weighed it. It weighed a million pounds. I mean, it was a, it was a, it was a, it was a, it was a, it was a, it was a, it was a lot of fun. And I was like, I’m not going to drive those off. It was neat. I remember seeing the blazers of driving around topless and the Broncos on, I think that’s right. On Friday night, Saturday night, you know, when all the kids would get out and drive around. And I know a few of those had to be daddy’s. They, they, they were just too nice and too built up for those kids that were driving them. You know, you got to love your kid to let him drive your, I mean, even though it was

so they weren’t that old, but I just can’t imagine letting some, uh, one of my kids drive up a 78 blazer around that is lifted on 44s or something and has the top off and you know, there’s going to be all kinds of stuff going on. Well, you don’t know what the other options were there either. Right. So the hopped up, uh, Camaro or Mustang or maybe maybe the blazer was the least worrisome option. Oh yeah. Those were definitely there.

All right. Well, uh, I was going to mention this, uh, and it’s, it’s a bit of bitching, but you should be, you guys should be used to that by now. So I mentioned at the top, uh, that, uh, Apple, uh, is good. I give us and it takes away. So one of the things that it has done, which is an amazing thing was starting the whole podcasting thing. Uh, it was called a podcast because Apple had a pod player so that you could play music and stuff recorded music and not, not very long after they came out with that, uh, you could also download free music, uh, to put on your, uh, your podcast player. You remember any of this? Oh yeah.

Yeah. Oh, good Lord. What the hell was that called? Napster was it? Napster. Yeah. Yep. So that was, uh, that was a neat thing. Everybody loves free stuff and they certainly love, uh, free music. And that was going on hard and heavy, uh, way back when. So, um, the, uh, and then somebody came up with the idea of, uh, Hey, let’s, uh, let’s talk and record, and then you can download it to, to a podcast, a pod player. And that’s how the name podcast came along. So I’m sorry. I said, okay.

You’ll trust me on this. Okay, good. So, uh, and, uh, and then shortly after that, there was more, more than one way to listen to a podcast. One of the Zune players, the Microsoft Zune, uh, Z-U-N-E was not a bad device at all. It just wasn’t, um, a, uh, an Apple product. It didn’t stick around very long. No, it didn’t. Apple pretty much owned that market for a long time and some, some regard it still does. Well, yeah. And that’s the part that I’m saying that Apple gives because, uh, Apple does give, they, they’ve given a lot of, uh, people a way of listening to podcasts. And I think that they’re 70% of where podcasts are, uh, are, uh, subscribed to and consumed. And so recently I found out we we’ve seen about maybe around a 27% drop and downloads, uh, which is huge.

And uh, that, uh, that 27% drop, but of course to me, it just means, uh, people have found us out. They, we suck and now they, they just realized it and they’re going to, they’re no longer listening, which is always the fear when you know, whenever you do something, uh, that nobody’s going to like what you do. So anyway, uh, but I read that, uh, Apple has made a change. So on their, I guess it’s on their player, uh, that allows you to download, uh, episodes as they come out. That way, uh, you don’t have to stream them or download them. Maybe whenever you’re in a bad spot or maybe you don’t have access or maybe you’re at work and you just can’t access the cellular network. Uh, and, uh, they don’t allow you to get on the company wifi. So now you can’t, uh, you can set it up where it pre downloads it. So apparently, yeah, so apparently, and I don’t know if you’ve noticed this or not, Larry, since you have an Apple. Um, but apparently recently, uh, Apple has made a programming change so that if you do not listen to the podcast for, uh, I don’t know, for I guess several months or whatever, it turns that off for that podcast. So it will not automatically download the episodes for you. Yeah. I really don’t notice that because I really don’t have any episodes or any shows that I don’t, uh, I’ll say I don’t consume very quickly.

And you know, for me, the biggest thing is I fly a lot for work and I can listen to them all while I’m flying or doing whatever.

And you know, like I said, I don’t have any, any podcast, you know, that I, that I follow or subscribe to that I don’t consume the, you know, each show very quickly. So for me, I don’t know that I would ever see it. Right. Um, and, and I’m kind of trying to get the word out here, but I realize that if you’re not listening to the podcast, you’re probably not hearing this. I would say that’s a safe bet.

I guess it’s on the outside chance that you go, you know, I haven’t listened to the Jeep talk show at a long time. Let me, uh, let me go see. Maybe they quit. Maybe they gave up, you know, in a wise way, they just, they just gave up and then they go and they go, wow, look at all these episodes. Where did they go? You know, and I’m sure that happens to some people, although I think Apple is, uh, is generally good about communicating, uh, to their, through their customers, what’s going on. Um, it’s just, uh, I don’t know. Uh, it’s, uh, I guess it’s good because with the, the fewer downloads, um, you, you’re getting a more accurate representation of who’s listening to your show.

Right. Yeah. And that’s, take this off in a tangent, but you know, this is very similar to what YouTube does. So even though you might subscribe to a certain channel, if you’re not actively watching it, it may not unsubscribe you, but it will not put that into your feed as a, Hey, look, they got a new video out. So they will quickly get relegated even though you’re following or subscribing them, you will not see them unless you actively go and look for them. Right. You know, that’s the, and all of this is one of the boys in one of my big fears with YouTube is, I mean, you’re kind of living on rented platforms, if you will. Absolutely. You know, it’s there, it’s their rules. You’re playing by them and you’re hopefully make money during the whole thing. But you know, in, in YouTube land, I mean, it has crushed a few channels in the past because a few rule changes and, and it sounds like something similar for the podcast in, on the Apple platform. Well, this is one of the reasons why I fought against putting the show on YouTube for so long is number one, I just couldn’t understand the, the whole idea behind somebody watching Talking Heads for an hour.

I mean, just Talking Heads.

And the other thing was is that I didn’t like the idea of having an entity being in control of my hard work, of our hard work. Right. And the audio portion of it. I mean, anybody can censor you. But I know that getting stuff out to the internet via audio, there’s several ways of doing it. And a few of them are free. So they even have less reason to do anything to you.

So yeah, so we’ve done the audio only for a while. I like video. I think video is fun. I like editing video. And it certainly can. And we know a few people that have really, really made a big bump on, on YouTube. I mean, started companies with multiple people working for those companies. And I think it’s wonderful, but I don’t know. I would be concerned about spending all my money that I was getting from YouTube. Cause you never know when it might just stop instantly. Yeah. But, but you know, in some regard, we all kind of make our money on a platform that’s not ours. And if you’re self-employed, you’re doing your own thing. That’s different story. But whether you’re working for somebody else, you’re making money in YouTube, on the YouTube platform, you’re running a podcast, on a podcast platform. I mean, at its core, unless you’re actually publishing it on your own website and hoping you can get the visibility, which is going to be very difficult, you’re always somewhat subservient to somebody else. Yep.

Plus, you know, there’s no reason to shave and get on YouTube here.

So, um, I need to look into, uh, Twitter or X now the, uh, the artist formerly called Twitter. Um, and, uh, because I know they are liking the audio and audio video stuff, but the last time I looked into it was probably three or four months ago. You have to do it with your phone. You can’t do it with a desktop. And, um, uh, several, several of the, like the Instagram and, uh, tick tack, uh, they both, uh, make it difficult for you to do things from, from a desktop. And I think a lot of that has to do with the, the potential automation of things. Um, the desktops are so much easier to, to make them do things that, um, may not be what the, the companies want you to do. Uh, I mean, like for example, um, uh, on, on Tik TOK, uh, I finally got to the part where I could actually, um, send a, do live video on the, on Tik TOK. And, uh, using a PC, there was nothing keeping me from just taking an episode that we had recorded and going live with it. Well, it’s, it’s not live. It was live when it was recorded, but it’s recorded now, but it says live. Now it’s, now it’s a memory. That’s right.

So, um, and I wouldn’t think that it matters to companies like that because they want eyeballs. Uh, but, uh, yeah, it’s just funny that the kind of, uh, gyrations that these companies go through, uh, or, oh, I don’t know. Do you do much Tik TOK? Are you sad that they’ve been now banned in the U S? No, I really don’t get it. Tik TOK much. So when I started jeeping Mo, I, I reserved the name on all platforms. Sure. Just for obvious reasons, but. Truthfully, I can’t, I don’t have enough time in a day. You know, Tik TOK is especially one of those. If, if you’re not continuously feeding that beast, you get relegated fast. And between work and trying to keep the YouTube going and everything else, there’s just not enough hours in a day. So I’ll say from my old mental sanity, I just, I actually deleted the app off my phone, so I don’t have to worry about it no more and, or think about it.

Is there any app that you do use like Instagram, I mean, just for personal entertainment?

Yeah. For the most part, it’s just, it’s Instagram and YouTube. Right. I, I have, uh, I, I have Facebook and I use that really just for the marketplace. Right. I have X on there, but truthfully I don’t monitor it or the, uh, what is the Instagram version of Twitter now? It’s, uh, I don’t remember what it’s called. I don’t, I don’t, it’s on my phone, but I don’t use it either. I’m not recalling of the only ones I know about our X Facebook, uh, um, Tik TOK.

Yeah. So, so what that was threads.

So threads is kind of like a, uh, it’s the Facebook version of, uh, X or Twitter. Oh, okay. Yeah. Threads is pointless to me. Yeah. Once again, I reserved them. And if anything, I’ll hang out on, uh, on, uh, LinkedIn quite a bit, but, you know, just, just to keep the name out there. Well, we need actually some more activity for it to be entertaining all the time, but I really enjoy the discord server, the Jeep talk show discord server. Oh, that’s a nonstop.

Yeah. Yeah. And you know, here’s the thing. That’s the main reason why I don’t, I don’t have Tik TOK or I don’t participate in some good ones. I actively enjoy the, uh, the discord room. I’d like to build an interact with it more, but you know, it’s, it’s, it’s a very fast moving live pace. If you do end up getting into that discord room, take the conversation from where it’s at.

Don’t scroll back. Cause it’s, it’s pages deep at that point.

Yeah. That was one of the things that a few people were complaining about that they have to go back and scroll back and look, no, you don’t have to to start a new conversation. Yeah. Just start, just start fresh. Yeah. Uh, and, uh, I now I’m going to, I would understand why Roger might be nervous about starting a new conversation because it would be what everybody was just talking about. Yeah. But you know, we expect that out of Roger, but that’s okay. It’s, it’s a great family and we have a, and we pick on each other like a family. Absolutely.

Are you ready? For the Jeep talk show with host Tony, Josh, Wendy, and Chuck.

Yes, it is. So I hope all you guys are enjoying our videos on YouTube. Uh, and I bet you a few of you went, what videos on YouTube? Uh, and, uh, yeah, I guess it’s a good time to mention this. So we’ve been doing, uh, YouTube videos for the show for a very long time. Uh, but it was automated by the, the service we use to publish our, our episodes, and they just took all the audio and took one of the images that we create and, uh, they, they just use that static, that same image, that static image for the entire, uh, audio of the, of the, uh, the YouTube video, which really sucks because you’re like, Oh wow, great YouTube. I’m going to watch. And then there’s nothing to watch. There’s only something to hear. Let’s see what these Goobers look like. Yeah. So they’re just so damn professional. I got to see if they’re wearing a shirt and tie. Uh, and if we do wear a shirt and tie that we’re not wearing any pants. Just so you know, we got to wear a shirt. It doesn’t hurt. What the good, like I said, the good thing is you can just go, uh, without pants. So, uh, this gets you a little fan under your desk and feel, enjoy the breeze. So anyway, uh, but now we’re doing a YouTube videos because, uh, that’s just what people said that we needed to do. And I don’t have any problem with doing it. Like I said earlier, I think video is fun and, uh, it’s an interesting thing to do. And it’s, uh, we’re giving a little more to you, the listener, uh, for entertainment value. And, and I was telling the, uh, I did an interview today with a, I guess it’ll be coming up here in about a month or so. And I mentioned to them, I really never saw the sense in doing video. Um, YouTube video, uh, for, uh, I don’t know what it is you’re touching, uh, Larry, but that’s a hell of a noise.

Oh, really? Oh yeah. Huge.

Sorry.

It’s happened twice before. So that’s why the third time I’m mentioning it to you. So you’ll know. Okay.

So anyway, uh, the, uh, hang on a second.

So anyway, we’re doing YouTube now. Uh, the kids seem to like it. We’re building a little bit. I guess you saw the same thing on your YouTube’s, uh, Larry, uh, it takes a while for people to know you, and I don’t know, uh, what it takes to get on the YouTube, uh, nice list, uh, where they actually, uh, um, sends you to other folks. But we’re seeing, um, 30, uh, 40, sometimes up to a hundred downloads, uh, per video, and, uh, we’re just going to keep hacking at it. And, uh, one of the things I like doing is making sure that, uh, you, the listener know about it because if you don’t know about it, you’re not going to watch it. Yeah. That’s a big, it’s a big uptick as I’ve never, some of them, they really didn’t get that many views now they get, now that we got video, it’s yes, and the watch as well. Exactly. Oh, and, uh, I made a command decision. I think we, we, we talked about this in a Jeep talk show team meeting about actually setting the, um, uh, stopping, uh, doing the static image videos, just turning that feature off and only having the, the, the videos that were, uh, that have, you know, actual action video associated with them, uh, as much action as you can have with two people standing or sitting still. Um, and anyway, uh, I, I was in a chat with somebody the other day, just a couple of days ago and they were saying they were confused because, uh, they went to go, uh, watch the video, but it wasn’t a video. It was a static image and it was the right show, but it wasn’t, it wasn’t the video. And I said, yeah, I said, so I do the audio editing first and I published the audio one, cause that’s our main, uh, our main type of a program. And then that will automatically put out a static image with the audio only. And then I manually edit the audio video portion of it. And then that comes out later and it could be a day later, uh, generally not two days later, but it could be a day later. So, uh, I told him, I said, yeah, I was told to sleep with there and set it to unlisted whenever the new one’s available. And I said, screw that. I don’t like that. That just causes confusion. So now I’ve said it where, uh, that static image video doesn’t come out. Okay. So if you don’t see the YouTube video, you’ll just have to wait. Um, you can listen to the audio, uh, one if you want, uh, or just wait until the, uh, the other one comes out. Uh, so, uh, also too, I don’t know if you noticed it, Larry, I’m trying to get real creative on the, the YouTube thumbnails, uh, with all kinds of things going on.

That is a, uh, uh, a liberal interpretation of, uh, one of the stories or something that we talked about. I mean, I try to always make it have something to do with it, uh, with what we talked about, I don’t want, I don’t want to get to the, uh, the, the realm of clickbait, but if you see an overly attractive woman and you’re expecting to see her on the show, not unless we get Larry to dress up. So just saying. Well, I shave for this.

But, but, and that too, uh, changed subject too much, but can’t you also listen to the show on the Patreon as well? You just want to just stream it. Oh, absolutely. And, uh, we also have the videos on Patreon. So, uh, it’s kind of a one place, uh, stop for overall that stuff. And, uh, the, I’ll tell you this, if you, if you guys don’t already know, the audio version of the show comes out first on Patreon. Um, the video version of the show comes out, uh, usually before it does on YouTube. Uh, no, I take that back. It goes to YouTube first. Cause the, the only way I can put the video up on Patreon is by using the YouTube link, which I kind of like, because that means that if, whether you’re looking at it, watching it through a Patreon or, um, you may catch it on, uh, um, uh, X cause I put up a link for X. I put up a link on LinkedIn. Uh, I put up a, uh, a teaser, uh, on Instagram and on, uh, uh, Tik TOK. So that’s another good way of knowing when the show comes out. If you just follow us on Instagram or, or Tik TOK, uh, you’ll see the teasers there and you’ll know it’s time to watch a video. Cause if the teaser is there, uh, the video, the full video is ready to go. Cause the teaser is taken from the full video. Right.

All right. So let’s talk about this new thing that you did, uh, with, uh, you were actually getting ready for, I think for the more expo and you correct me on any of this. Uh, and you were going to be out there at the more expo showing off some lights and you needed to get away of putting some lights on your 2018 jail. Is it 2018? Is that right? It’s, it’s 2018 jail. Yeah. So we, so we were contacted by hella off-road lights, right? They wanted to show off some of their new, uh, they, they call it a blade. It’s a six inch diameter light. So we were trying to figure out a way to showcase some of their lights. And, uh, we ended up building a light bar that goes over the, over the front windshield, I’ll say it’s kind of in the theme of the KC light, if you will.

So we built a light bar that, uh, you mount six of those lights on it. And, you know, I’m a real, I’m not going to say I’m a great fabricator, but I do. Okay. But, you know, wiring is just not my thing.

So we built that light bar. We built a, uh, bull bar for the front. We mounted two of them on there. We mounted a, a, uh, light bar under it, a light bar on the hood. There’s two small cubes on a pillar and there’s four lights in the back of this thing. So this, so my, my Jeep now looks like a UFO if I turn everything on. But yeah. And how is this bad? I mean, you seem like you’re embarrassed, which is, it sounds like a heaven to me. Oh, no, no, there’s plenty of light. Trust me. I’m not embarrassed by it, but yeah, it was, you know, it was kind of neat. So as I’m building this, um, I self admittedly never had a lot of, a lot of lights on my Jeep, I’ve always ran something on the front other and headlights because we all know how horrible Jeep headlights are. Right. And, uh, it was kind of fun putting those six lights up there and, and, uh, building the bull bar and, you know, trying to figure out how to get all the wiring to go in there, you know, and make everything happen. I actually reached out to team member, uh, Bill here and I said, you know, Bill, how would you wire this up? Because, you know, I wanted someone who knew what they were doing on the wiring aspect of it. And, uh, Bill kind of guided me a little bit on making a wiring harness and, uh, using some of those, uh, weather tight connectors.

So we had some wiring harnesses and, uh, I do need to get a bigger switch pod because I just physically ran out of space.

That’s a great, great problem to have. Oh yeah. Yeah. Because each one of those little six inch blades are right around 10 amps.

So, you know, I got 60 amps of light sitting over my front window and I had, I have to pull all those off and, and pairs. So between that and the light bars and everything.

Kind of neat when I was driving home from the Moore expo, which was, you know, in Springfield, Missouri, some of the back roads were known as that, you know, I hit those light bars and, uh, well, I’ll just say I’ve never seen that much of the, of those fields at night. Yeah, that’s really nice. I was going to ask you about the current on those, uh, on those, uh, lights that you had on the, uh, um, the bar over the, the attached to the A pillars. Um, uh, cause mine, I think were, I think, I think the ones I did on the XJ totaled up to 80 amps. Ooh. Yeah. And, but they, they’re very, very bright LEDs. Um, and I don’t think anybody, they, they intended anybody, I think they’re five watt, each little led is five watt led, if I’m remembering correctly. And, uh, anyway, it all tolls up to a lot of, a lot of wattage. So I literally, um, had to split, uh, the wiring four and four. So that each one was, was 40 amps. Right. And I don’t know if you saw me, uh, the message I sent you about, um, um, the dimmer. Yeah. There’s a, are those led, uh, hella lights or are they, okay. So, uh, the, uh, the leds, you can’t dim. Oh, well, I actually take that back. I think some, they have made some now that you can dim and maybe you can dim these. But if they’re, if they’re just the on or off type of variety of led, uh, you can actually put a DC motor controller on them and then flash, flash them. But it’s flashing so quickly that you’re not going to see it with your eyes. Your eyes are just going to see it as they’re dimmer and you can get them very, very dim and, uh, I did some measurements and, uh, as you would expect, um, because they’re flashing so quickly, that means that they, they’re using, uh, voltage and electricity, I mean, and current, uh, and then they’re not. So the overall current, uh, draw drops. So that 60 amps, uh, you, you, you turn them off half 50% of the time. Uh, now it’s down to 30 amps. So yeah, so that’s, that’s kind of the neat thing and you can adjust the amount of light that you need. And then there’s always that, um, that asshole that flashes you and you, and then you can say, and then you can say, but wait, there’s more, and you just turn up the volume to 11. Do you feel lucky?

Yeah. So it’s, so it’s kind of neat. These, uh, these lights have like a accent center, if you will, to it. So they got this pretty cool little snap on cover over the light and the center section, you can either make white or Amber, so you can, you can alternate that as well as have the, uh, I think they’re 8,500 lumen per. So, I mean, there’s a, there’s a lot of light there. Yeah. It’s really, it’s really cool. The technology, the way the technology is going. Um, yeah, those, uh, uh, Amber and white, that kind of sounds like the, uh, until the lights from, uh, from Tyree lights, um, that, uh, that I saw out at EGS last year. Um, okay. Yeah. So, um, but, uh, yeah, those, those look really cool. And I like the idea of being able to change the color of the light because, uh, bright white or 6,000 Kelvin isn’t always the best light, uh, depending on the environment that you’re in. Especially in a dusty environment. Yeah. So these only change Amber. There’s like a small row in the center. I don’t want to call it accent light, but it, you know, it doesn’t really throw out a lot of Amber light. It’s more accent, if you will. Uh, maybe a given idea of where you are, like not initially marker lights, but kind of doing that type of thing. So you can kind of tell where somebody is and up high, that might be good because especially if you’re in a dusty environment or smoky. Yeah.

Smoky. And you know, if you want it to, you could even wire those into your turn signal. Oh, that would be fine. Yeah.

Then the next step is to, uh, hook up all the lights to a, uh, device that you put audio into like your, your stereo, and then it changes the voltage, uh, go into the light. So you go, yeah, that’s not me.

It’d be funny though. The, the one time you use it. Oh yeah. Yeah, but it was kind of nice. So, you know, we did a, we was, we was in the Hello booth showing off those and, uh, it was pretty, it was pretty good. We got to talk to a lot of neat people there at the show, kind of walked them through the build, get a, and we had, you know, we handed out quite a few Jeep talk show stickers, quite a few, quite a few, uh, jeeping most stickers and, uh, we spent a lot of time talking about the Jeep and everything else. Uh, how many people did, uh, did, uh, Duke bite?

Yeah. So that was kind of, uh, I didn’t want to take Duke because we’re kind of there under invitation of a hella and, you know, they put us up in a hotel. And they’re very nice. Yeah. And you know, previous years, they didn’t allow dogs to be at the show. So this year I checked and I could have, I could have brought Duke, but you know, it was, you know, hella invited me out and we did all this stuff. I want to make sure I was doing right by them. Right. So, you know, he didn’t get to go on this trip, but he, he got some treats out of the deal either way.

Is he still not talking to you? Oh, just me. If you, if you, uh, treat, he starts talking fast. I’m surprised he’s not breaking down the door. You said treats twice. Oh yeah. Our dog, you say a snack once and she starts listening and she’s waiting to hear it again, make sure she understood properly.

Well, he, he is on a new sticker. So the Duke sticker, that’s, that’s all him on the front of it. So everybody got to talk about him.

So did you get many questions from, uh, from the folks about, uh, uh, perhaps, uh, the, where you got those mounts for the lights or anything like that? Yeah. So actually it was, so we talked about the, you know, a few of the people actually recognize you from the YouTube channel, Gping Mo. Oh, nice. And, uh, the other ones that I asked you to work out of my, we talked about the fabrication of them and the, you know, the bending of the tube before the bull bar in the front.

And, uh, you know, that led into a lot of, cause my Jeep has a lot of fabrication on it, you know, where, whether it’s the, uh, the bar I have over the dash tied into the A-pillar for all the gadgets or, you know, quite a few things I’ve built for it. It just, it just kind of springboarded into multiple things. And, you know, I’d talked to quite a few people who were, I’ll say fairly knew the Jeep world wheeling and that kind of stuff. So kind of walked them through some of the stuff that I’ve done to it. And, you know, what some of their expectations are as far as, uh, you know, one of the, one of the gentleman’s talking about needing lockers and he doesn’t want to go up to Dana 60s. He didn’t know if he wants ARBs. And I said, why don’t you just try to find a set of takeoffs? Right. And we, we went down that rabbit hole of just, cause he says, uh, you know, I really don’t want to, I just want lockers. I said, well, you know, there, there’s other options there.

And, uh, find somebody else that has that bug. I got to do 60s and get the 44s with lockers. Like you did on yours. Absolutely.

But yeah, we got to talk about how we fabricated the bar and the wiring and, uh, all of that because, you know, hella had several other lights and, uh, yeah, it was kind of interesting to meet, meet all the people to show. Cause the show got fairly busy.

So, you know, and I’ll just say it’s kind of my people, you know, it’s, uh, we were just talking cheeps and fabrication and, uh, you know, the two days I was everyone pretty quick was there on, on the, the Friday and Saturday, we’re really quick. How was the weather?

It was, uh, so the first night there, the first day I actually helped them set up on Wednesday and it was, it was windy as all get out. They were talking about hail and, uh, tornadoes. And I got a little PTSD on hail. Oh, I bet. You got a brand new hood because of, because of that because of hail. Yeah, it was, it was pretty good weather. It was nice and sunny. There was a little bit of wind. It actually was, uh, in I think the high 40s, low fifties in the mornings.

So, I mean, it was really nice weather for it. And, uh, we had a fair amount of sun, so people just got to come out and, uh, enjoy the show really nice. So, um, those, uh, I’m assuming that you’re keeping those lights, uh, that they’re yours to keep. Um, are you planning on leaving them on your Jeep or are you planning on pulling a few dozen of them off? Uh, are you going to stick with what you got there? I mean, I would think that you’re going to stick with it. I mean, you went through all the trouble of building the bars and the wiring and all that stuff. So why the hell not? No, they’re all going to stay on there. And, uh, you know, I was trying to, I was trying to see, you know, if, uh, hello is going to be any, any other shows like out East or something like that. Maybe we’ll take a Jeep out there and be in that booth as well.

And, uh, yeah, I’m looking forward to working with them more. It was a great group of guys that were out there and, uh, you know, they’re based out of Georgia, which I actually get out to their neck of the woods quite a bit. So I’m kind of looking forward to one of these days getting down there and, uh, and seeing their factory as well. That that’s one thing I would always like to do is go into places and to see how they, they make stuff because you see the end product, but you don’t really get, I mean, even if you see a YouTube video, you don’t get the, the sense of scale, the number of people, um, I just find all that stuff fascinating. Whenever you go to a place where people are making things that, uh, that, you know, they’re, they’re good looking products, they’re, right.

See how it comes together. And, you know, I had no idea about all the things that Hella was actually into.

Right. And, uh, you know, they make all kinds of parts, lights, breaks, you know, there’s a litany of stuff that they do. So, you know, and I’ll just say, if you want to see the lights that we built out, those are at, uh, you know, my hella.com, I think it is.

And, uh, yeah, it was pretty fun build. I actually, I actually look forward to working with them more and, uh, no projects like that. So, uh, if people want to look at your build, uh, where would they go? Jeeping Mo, pretty much a few to type in jeeping Mo on a YouTube. It’s all out there.

Very good. So, you know, somebody else that does stuff for off-road is a realtruck.com. And, uh, I know you have seen some, uh, some Jeeps running around all done up like the, uh, uh, the Jurassic park, uh, Jeep. I have yet to see anybody that accurately does the, uh, the, the A pillar, uh, lights where they’re all crooked and stuff, you know, we’re like they did in the movie. Yes.

So I think that’s always funny. You see that you go, you recognize it as a Jeep. And, uh, whatever you’ve done, and I’m assuming you’ve seen the movie, uh, the, seen the original Jurassic park. Did you immediately notice the Jeep? Like I did? Oh, absolutely.

Yeah. I thought it was funny that Newman was, uh, was driving it and he wasn’t the only one that they had the stars, the show and stuff that were, were part of that. Now it was before I understood the difference between round headlights and square headlights. Uh, and then later, later on I saw that it was a YJ, uh, that, uh, that they were using, which made sense because the timing of the movie was a 92.

And it does seem like it was that long ago, does it? No, it doesn’t. Um, but yeah, but anyway, the, uh, the, if you go over to, uh, realtruck.com slash blog and just do a search for famous Jeep, Jurassic park, uh, Jeep Wrangler YJ, you can see their article about famous Jeeps and specifically the, uh, the Jeep Wrangler YJ. Uh, and of course the, uh, the film Jurassic park, uh, and I think the original film was very good. Uh, the other ones, uh, were okay, but I don’t think any of them has, has held the candle, uh, to the first one. And I may be wrong on this, but I think it might be because that was the one that had the Jeep YJ in it. It’d be. Yeah. That was a lot of iconic footage in that one. I always liked the picture of the winner sitting there and they’re all sitting in the Jeep and the lady’s looking around and all of a sudden he reaches out and turns her head and look at the dinosaurs.

It’s like, Oh, yeah. Stop looking at that. That paper. That’s the way I think about paper maps. You know, I just looked at GPS, think about it for you. Do you know, and you probably do know this, do you know that Jeff Goldblum has, uh, uttered the same words in two movies, uh, independence day and Jurassic park must go faster.

Nope. Didn’t know that.

Yeah. When the, when the dinosaur, the Tyrannosaurus Rex is chasing them.

Whenever they’re blowing up the mothership, let’s go faster. Let’s go faster.

I don’t know if they did that on purpose or not, but I bet you a Goldblum knew what he was doing when he said it. Oh, I’m sure.

Yeah. Uh, and you probably remember from, uh, past, uh, Jeep talk show episodes, the, uh, that Jeep actually came out with a sticker package, uh, for Jurassic park that you could put on your jail.

I think it was, I think it’s for the two door, but I’m not, I’m not 100% sure on that, but of course it’s not the red and the silver or the red and a gold paint style, it’s just the, uh, the stickers you can put on there that say Jurassic park.

Yeah. They had that actually had that Jeep out at a SEMA last year. Did they? Yeah. Oh, that’s right. I think I did remember seeing pictures of that that you guys took. Yeah. It’s, I mean, it’s a good looking jail. I mean, if you, if you want the, uh, the Jurassic park experience, I mean, you, you could get all of it there, maybe less a dinosaur, but you know, it’s a good looking Jeep. I just thought of something. Wouldn’t it be more entertaining to, instead of a duck, a Jeep, a dinosaur Jeep, you could, you could put dinosaur Jeeps. I mean, dinosaurs on the, uh, all the Jeeps that you find that are set up like Jurassic park.

Would that be like a little plastic dinosaur turd or would it be a little plastic dinosaur body? Do you know that dinosaur turds are very sought after? And then rock hunting. There you go. So it’s a win-win.

All right. So if you’re looking to build a YJ, you can get a 92 or really any of them 87 through, uh, through 96, uh, for the, uh, the Wrangler series, the YJ Wrangler series, uh, the, uh, the one that they used in the movie was for a Sahara. And, uh, you can make your own Jurassic park, uh, Jeep. And I just say you got to do it with square headlights, doing it with round headlights is cheating. Everybody will know if they don’t, somebody will tell them, we’ll tell them. Damn it. So just go over and check out realtruck.com. Uh, their blog famous Jeeps, Jurassic park, Jeep Wrangler, J YJ. And you can find the link in the show notes for this episode. 1,026.

We even know someone who makes the square headlight grill for a, for a jail. Now there you’re talking because you could actually get away with a modern day Jeep with the square headlights. And it would be funny because people will be looking and trying to figure out why this doesn’t look exactly like the movie version, but it looks better. Yeah. And of course, we’re talking about unofficial use only to just go to unofficial use only.com. And you can pre-purchase a square headlight, uh, grill for your J T, uh, J L or J L U.

I’m looking forward to those door pockets. Did you order some door pockets, Larry? No, not yet. Uh, although, you know, every time I close my door and the net is actually in the door, it just ticks me off. And one of these days I’m just going to cut the thing out. Just out of sheer disgust.

Never, never have used them. And they sit there and sag like an old diaper. Or worse. Or worse. Exactly.

Uh, lots of fun, lots of fun. It’s always, uh, and I, and I’ve seen, uh, with the, the Jeep meet that we do here every, uh, every month in downtown, beautiful downtown Katie, Texas. Uh, I, uh, we’ll see, uh, on occasion, I think I’ve only been to four of them on one of the four, there was a Jurassic park Jeep, but it had round headlights. So you don’t know what you’re going to get, but it certainly, it was a nice looking Jeep, uh, regardless. Sure. Welcome to fabricating frenzy with Larry, also known as Jeeping Mo, whose hair is not curly. All right. So I went to the Moore expo here in Springfield, Missouri, and that was on the 19th, 20th of April here. So once again, you know, we, we talked about a little bit. I was in the hell of lighting booth because we did a little collaboration with them. But, you know, the more, the more expo has been going on for about five years now. And there’s a little bit of everything there.

And one of the things I was kind of looking at as we were going through is I’ve been kind of kicking around an idea of a little toe behind trailer. And, uh, you know, we got that, we got a team member here in the zoom room who built his own trailer, Matt, and he does such a phenomenal job. I’ve been kicking around either buying or building one. So I was looking for a small toe behind trailer. Wait a second. Wait a second. You helped him online with the welding and some of the stuff, uh, doing to that trailer. I would just, I would just send him some money and have him make it for you.

Send him 200 bucks and say, do your, do your magic, Matt. Yeah. He did a phenomenal job on it. And you know, I actually found a few trailers here that looked just like his are very similar to it, right? So, you know, it amazes me just the sheer price of those trailers.

It’s insane. Yeah. So I found a couple small ones that was there and it was, you know, a full size bed on the inside, it had air air conditioning in it, which is the mandatory. And you know, those were starting around 10 to $13,000. And those were really bare bone trailers because the ones I really liked were 30 to 50,000 and, uh, yeah, it was just amazing. How nice some of those trailers out there, you know, how nice some of those really are.

So while we were out there, I’m looking around, I’m filming stuff for a YouTube video that I made of the show.

The, uh, the Rivian lady waved me over there. So she started showing me those Rivian, the trucks. Did you look behind you to make sure she wasn’t waving at somebody behind you? Larry?

Well, I always assumed she’s waving to somebody else. Yeah.

So when I went over there and looking at, and I’ve seen Rivian’s before. And while I’ll just say that the electric thing is not my gig, I don’t see myself ever being in one, they are a really nice build.

And so I’m sitting there and I’m looking at them and you know, it’s amazing how much storage is one of those Rivian trucks. And you got the frunk and you got the bed and you got under the bed and you got these pass through tunnels.

So, uh, she actually let me, they were given rides or letting you drive the Rivian around the expo.

So, uh, she let me take it around the expo and then the back section here, she lets you stop and, uh, kind of really give it the beans a little bit. And it’s amazing how fast, just a two motor version of that thing is not the four motor.

But yeah, it’s a, it was an amazing vehicle. I mean, they started $70,000, which, you know, once again, not my bag, but if you were going to buy an electric vehicle to take it out and, uh, you know, Wendy’s talked about those things out on the trail.

I mean, I would say from an electric standpoint, it’s probably one of your better options. If you want to go pure electric, you want a hybrid, obviously there’s four by E.

But yeah, it’s a, it was really, it was really nice vehicle. And then, you know, we got, we got looking at everything there at the expo. Now, if you’re wanting to just do pure overlanding, they had all your scottles and, you know, all the different ways to make, make your food, your sandwiches, and, you know, all of that there. And Tony, we even got to see, it was a, I think it was a Ford F550.

Oh, that’s the big 18 with a looking thing, right? Yes, sir.

It had a huge camper section. It, this whole thing is rhino lined. You know, I would imagine that thing has got to be 12 foot tall. Rhino line for her pleasure. Yeah. Yes. So I’m looking at, I’m just looking at it and I asked the lady and we got out. I said, so what does this thing go about 250? 250 at least. Yeah. He says 460. Oh my God. Oh my God. I mean, it was nice. Sure. It was nice. Came, it should come with a rag so you could wipe yourself after you paid for it. Yeah. And then, you know, they had, they had a bunch of, so it’s primarily an overlanding show, so everybody was there with other gadgets and they have a big, they have a big area outside with a lot of trailers and everything. Then there’s an area on the inside where they have a lot of gadgets and more trailers and more everything.

So I did, I did pick up a couple things there. You know, I picked up, uh, we’ve talked about Atlas 46 here on the show a couple of times. Oh, I saw that on your video. I saw the Atlas guys. Uh, I was, I was actually talking to your video saying, uh, Larry, tell them that the, we they’ve been on the show.

Yeah. So the problem with, when I was, when I was trying to get them to go through it, there was a, someone saying in a background and I’m trying to get them to go through this quickly as I’m trying to keep talking to mute the guy singing because that’s death for a YouTube video because all of a sudden I’ll be demonetized. Right.

So yeah, I actually ended up buying a tool roll there. And then I ended up buying this, uh, pretty cool thing that goes on the back. If you’re safe from 23, zero, that has all the storage compartments on, I put all the Duke stuff in there and snacks and bowls and everything. So it’s off the floor. Right. That was, that was really cool. And then I had been looking for a way to, uh, Mount cameras on the Jeep a lot better, and it was the guy there by the day with company called sea sucker. And it’s pretty cool suction cups that they mount all your shovels and tables and everything to the side of your rigs is an easy way and you don’t mark up the vehicle, but it’ll also, you know, hold a camera very well.

So yeah, so there was a little bit of everything mile to wild. And then on the, they actually was in another building. If you wanted something they call power sports, you know, your side by sides and some of your boats and what was it? There was jet skis, you know, every, that, that one whole building was just Chuck full of all of that. So every, it seemed like every year that, that place almost doubles in size. Yeah.

So, you know, if you’re, if you’re in the, anything to do with overlanding, wheeling, just getting outdoors, you know, keep an eye out for the, uh, the more expo. So last year we did, I didn’t go because it was the same weekend as EJS.

But EJS moved back a week and they moved the expo up a, up a week.

So it was kind of nice. I bet it hurt them. Uh, I mean, obviously this isn’t a Jeep event. The more expo isn’t a Jeep event. And let me ask you real quick, does that bother you at all? Do you, uh, I, I mean, I don’t have any problem. Well, I guess it’s really my issue more than anything else. Cause I was, I was telling my wife, Chris will sometimes tell me, uh, oh, the blah, blah, blah is doing blah, blah, blah. Or do you know about the blah, blah, blah? And I go, no, I don’t, I don’t follow any vehicles except Jeeps. I have no interest in any other vehicle with the possible exception of full-size trucks and even full-size trucks these days are getting kind of crappy. I mean, uh, the forage are made of mostly aluminum and you fart sideways and it blows out the bed, uh, from tearing up the aluminum and it’s just not the same as it used to be a fortunately you can still get used trucks, but, uh, I have an interest in trucks and I have a very deep interest in Jeeps, not just for the show. I just find them interesting. And, uh, but, uh, it kind of bothers me when I go to someplace. I mean, it bothers me when I go to Easter Jeep Safari and there’s somebody out there that isn’t in a Jeep. Damn it.

Yeah. I’ll just say my take on that is, you know, it’s, uh, is it kind of lifts the whole community a little bit, if you will, because the, the overlanding community itself, you know, it’s, it’s very much it’s every bit as much Toyota’s is as Broncos as well. That’s like off road. I mean, it’s not just, but I’m just talking about the event itself. Yeah. Yeah. It doesn’t bother me because just, but anything you can hang off any of those other vehicles that can hang off my Jeep, right? It just doesn’t look as good or work as good. Well, no, I mean, you know, not everybody can be the cool kids. The guy with the blazers going, well, the hell are you guys? Yeah. I answered. Exactly. But, but then, you know, all the trailers and everything like that, you know, cause they had, they had several trailers there that you would have to be in something like a, you know, a half ton truck or better to tow it because there’s that thing is as big as your Jeep and you wouldn’t dare try to tow that thing. That is the neat thing about full size pickups and doodlies and stuff. Just the sheer amount of a towing capacity that you can get out of them. Absolutely. You know, one of the trailers I looked at there because, you know, I’m be contemplating, you know, something from my wife when we go out and it was really nice bathroom, really nice bed. There’s a full shower in it and it only weighed 4,500 pounds, but I just, I don’t know it’s something about the $70,000 price tag on it. Oh, is that something? Yeah. Yeah. Absolutely. Wouldn’t it been, wouldn’t it have been really neat? I don’t know if it, if it would gotten back there with that camping site that we were at last year at EJS, but in something that was just maybe had a big window that was pointed out over the, over the cliff and that whole vista. Oh, that would be great. And you’re, you’re nice and comfy. You’re sitting in a comfortable chair. You got a comfortable bed. Uh, you turn the heater on, you’re nice and toasty and, uh, oh, and you got a star link on top of your roof and you’re just, it would be just like being at home. But with this wonderful environment, completely different environment, I could see doing that a lot because I think it’d be fun to go to Colorado, uh, Arizona, uh, certainly, uh, Utah, uh, all those places. Uh, I think it would be just so much fun, uh, just to roll up and, and I know it, I’m sure there’s a lot of pain in the ass about it too. There’s breaking, there’s breakdowns. I was like Matt, that great trailer that he, that he built. He had two issues with it, uh, with the wheels on it, which really had nothing to do with the part that he, that he built, uh, that he had to contend with. Actually you had to contend with that too, helping him get it going. Well, uh, there in Moab, I believe.

Yeah. We all worked out a little bit on, on the way to, uh, they can, when he was in Texas also, oh yeah, that’s right. I finally got to see that it was, it was really neat. Um, I mean, you know how it is. You want a mobile home, but you want to tow a twig. Uh, so, right. Yeah. And so, you know, so for me and dude, that’s what I’m, I’m looking for is a small trailer because I like to go out and, uh, I’ll say camp, but I’m not, I’m not really in love with the ground camping. No, no. Um, but a little trailer, it’s great, I think, because it’s nothing to pop up. I think you correct me on this. It’s nothing to pop up. There’s nothing to set up. You’re tired. You, you get to the campsite, you crawl in there and you go to sleep and there’s not a lot to it. I mean, even the, even the pop-up tents don’t require much setup, but that’s, it’s that this is even simpler and you don’t have to worry about the center of gravity being changed on your vehicle. Yeah. So the two I was looking at there, one, one was made more for I’ll say being pulled on a trailer because the main beam went the full length of it. And, uh, it was right at, right. I think it was 13 eight and, uh, had a huge, huge awning on it. If you wanted to put that out, it would be nice in the, it was raining or anything like that, you could hook it up to have air and, uh, yeah, the, the, the reason why I want that is it. So like when I’m coming down to the event in Texas or anywhere, when it, when it comes time to look, I’m tired of driving, pull into a Walmart or a, uh, cracker barrel, crawl on the back, get a little bit of sleep and off we go. You know, I, I know that the cost of that, I could get a whole lot of hotel rooms, but, you know, well, you know what you got, you don’t have to worry about bed bugs. Uh, you know, it’s, it’s yours and also too, there’s just a kind of a fascination. And I think a lot of jeepers are this way. There’s a fascination of being self sufficient. Right. And, and that’s really self sufficient is carrying your, carrying your home around with you like that. Right. Speaking of carrying and carrying it on, uh, we, we now have to get somebody on here that’s been carrying the show for, for years. You know who I’m talking about? I’m not sure who we talking about. Hey, this is Nicky G and I like to remind everybody that the next time you’re at the auto parts store, be kind to the guys in there that think they know everything, but don’t really know anything at all.

Now I’m not talking about the kid behind the parts counter. I’m talking about as XJ owners. We spend a lot of time at the auto parts store.

You hardly ever see an XJ in the parking lot. That’s that’s because we don’t really make it that far. I said it once, I’ll say it a thousand times. It’s a Cherokee, just a plain Cherokee, not a grand Cherokee. And yes, it’s a 4.0.

There’s no such thing as a 2.5. It’s like a unicorn or a female orgasm. It’s a mythical creature. It does not exist. Well, that’s not why I’m calling. I’m calling to tell you that I tried brushing my teeth with my left hand. Yeah. And it turns out a toothbrush works much better.

All right, boys and girls, I’ll chat at you later and you have a good one. Bye.

I thought he was going to say it was fun because he, uh, sat on his, uh, his left hand until it was numb and it felt like a stranger was brushing his teeth.

Well, you see, they break out that tooth, that teeth brush. Or what was the joke about going down, going out ease? Uh, what was it? My dad, my dad had some really bad jokes and, uh, he said, like, uh, did you brush your teeth and some of the long was lines and he’d say, uh, all of them are just one, I can’t remember how the joke goes now, but it was like, uh, it’s a toothbrush and I think that was part of it was that the, do you brush all your teeth with the toothbrush or just one? So it was, it was some really bad jokes that he had. Uh, I see where my kids are coming from, but mine are funny, dammit.

All right. Coming up later on this week, uh, when our interview episode, remember, uh, we have interviews every Friday, uh, this week it’s going to be Jason Rogers, uh, Grand Haven Jeep Fest and their website is GH for Grand Haven Jeep Fest.com. And it’s not, it’s not the Jeep Fest itself that’s giving away a Jeep, but the, uh, what do you call it? Not the public utility, the, um, the group for the city. Uh, what are, what do you call the commerce or something? The console or the city commerce or something. Con, commerce, some of it are there. Anyway, the city basically is doing a Jeep giveaway and they’re going to be announcing the winner, uh, at the Grand Haven Jeep Fest and in talking to Jason, it, this really sounds like a really cool place. It’s right there on the beach. And the beach is, uh, the, the, the big Lake, the, what, what’s the big Lake in Michigan, um, like Michigan. Is it like Michigan? Uh, it’s just on the other side of, uh, if you look across, you see, I can’t remember, there’s a big city on the other side, Canada. No, no, to the, uh, to the West, it’s just directly across. It’s like, it’s not Toledo. Um, I just don’t know that area at all. I’m sorry. People are hollering at, uh, at their device right now, but it seems like a really cool place they’ve got a beach, even though they don’t have an ocean, but they have this big Lake and apparently it’s a really fascinating place to go and they’re going to have an off-road set up there on the main street in Grand Haven that you can get on. Uh, and you got to get tickets and blah, blah, blah, but they’re doing 1000, uh, giveaway tickets for the, for the Jeep. Uh, and I believe it’s a JL two, uh, two door, uh, and, uh, 1000 tickets. No more, no less. And it costs a hundred dollars. So you have, you have a one and one thousandths chance of winning when you buy one ticket. So, uh, get over there and buy you a ticket before, uh, before they get all, all they’re all out. I’ll probably need your help Larry, cause I’m going to be winning that Jeep because I bought one, uh, bought a ticket. So I’ll need you to go get it for me and just, uh, hold on to it over there at your house. Okay. I want to, I want to go get it. I want to hook a hook a camera to it so I can make sure you’re not driving it anywhere.

Absolutely.

That’s the only downside about winning is they got to go all the way up there to get it, uh, could always fly, but, uh, that’s a, that’s a hell of a ride back. We’re second to have a lot of fun stopping by, uh, bugging Greg, uh, bugging Chuck, bugging you that would be, uh, uh, all those great places to spend the night. I think, I think if you win a Jeep, you know, you’ll have to just rough it and go get it. Yeah.

All right. And this week’s must have stuff for your Jeep. I teased it with Larry earlier. This is a JL grab a tray passenger storage tray. Well, you can just really tell they’re going for the SEOs on these things. Uh, organizer grab handle accessory. Basically it’s a little plastic, uh, knick, knack that you put in that grab handle. That’s right there in front of the passenger.

So instead of having a hole there, uh, and, and you know, everybody is at some point tries to stick their phone in there and it just goes right straight through. Well, this little tray, there’s nothing to do. There’s nothing to glue. There’s nothing to screw. You just put it in there. It kind of pops into place. It’s a little loose, but it just pops into place. And now you have a place that you can store things. Uh, like you were saying snacks earlier, you could put snacks there. Uh, you could put your phone and it does not get in the way of the airbag. Cause I could hear people screaming. Oh yeah. Well, that’s good. Now you got to claim more. Now it’s not in the way. Now, if you put anything up too high in there, it’s going to be a projectile. Uh, so just keep that in mind, but this is just really for little stuff. It’s just kind of a convenience thing of a napkin or maybe a little thing of napkins or something in there. Uh, and I promise you after driving from Southeast Texas to Moab, Utah, the wife would have loved to have something right there where she could put stuff right there in front of her.

So it’s a $13 and 55 cents. And I thought it was such a great idea. I ordered one when I was looking this thing. I might have to get one of these too. Yeah. It’s a, it’s not a bad idea. I actually watched the video where they had several items that were just knick-knack storage. I liked this one the best. And, uh, but there’s a, a lot of little things there that you can get to help with the storage, uh, on your, uh, uh, gladiator or, uh, JL cause this’ll, you know, obviously this will fit either one. So, but, uh, well, we’ll see. No, it does say a Jeep, a gladiator JT on there. Yeah. So it can always be a little different, but it’s not.
