Toledo Jeep Fest
Are you going to this year’s Toledo Jeep Fest? Well, you’re too stinking late, cause it’s over for 2024. Chris and Nicky G were there with thousands of their Jeep-loving friends! You can see the many videos that they shot interviewing people at this major annual event. Jerry Huber reports there were 1,400 jeeps in the parade.
A storm on Friday afternoon/evening caused the cancelation of events, but TJF was in full-blown go on both Saturday and Sunday. Did you see Chris or Nicky G? Did you get a JTS sticker?
Guess the top towing capacity SUV for 2024
I think the keyword here is SUV. A full-sized pickup surely beats this, but if you’re towing a big boat and taking the big family along, comfort and towing are important.
This is a Jeep show, so of course the top towing SUV is a Jeep. A Jeep Wagoneer! Towing capacity is 10k lbs! The same towing capacity is used for the Ford F-150 lightning.
Payload of 1,150 to 1,490 lbs and maximum cargo capacity of 116.2 cubic feet.
I’ll just point out here that the Gladiator with max tow is some 7,600 lbs of towing capacity, and you can take it off-road as well.

We’ve talked about it before, it’s the Jeep Avenger! The Avenger is an European-produced subcompact, called a B-SUV.

A 57-year-old Floridian woman driving her jeep when it became disabled on a railroad track! Hmm sounds like an insurance job. Sadly the RED JLU looks to be totaled, see the provided picture in our show notes.
