Facebook Decline

42% of US Facebook users aged 18 to 29 self-reported reduced usage.

This statistic is significant in the context of Facebook’s Decline Statistics because it indicates that a large portion of the platform’s core demographic is beginning to distance themselves from the social media giant. This could be a sign of a larger trend of users leaving the platform, which could have a major impact on Facebook’s future.

44% of Facebook users aged 18 to 29 deleted the app from their phones.

This statistic is a telling indication of the waning popularity of Facebook among the younger demographic. It suggests that the social media platform is losing its appeal among the 18 to 29 age group, which is a key demographic for the company. This could be a sign of a larger trend of Facebook’s decline in the near future

Jeep Wrangler EV Delayed Until 2027

Jeep execs have made it clear that this iconic off-road brand is fully embracing electrification. The Jeep Wrangler and Grand Cherokee are both currently available as 4Xe plug-in hybrids with around 30 miles of electric-only driving and full Jeep off-road capability. But these are just the start, Jeep has confirmed plans for several fully-electric vehicles, and now that includes the Wrangler.

“Driven by the success of our electrified 4xe portfolio in North America and Europe, we are designing and developing the most capable and sustainable Jeep SUVs to date, on our path to becoming the leading zero-emission SUV brand in the world,” said Jeep Brand CEO Christian Meunier.

There was some concern among enthusiasts that the upcoming Jeep Recon would replace the Wrangler. Due to arrive next year, the battery-electric off-roading Recon is expected to be fully Trail Rated with underbody protection, an e-locker axle and aggressive off-road tires.

But in a recent interview with Auto Express, Munier confirmed that a Wrangler EV is also in the works.

An electric powertrain brings excellent benefits to extreme off-roading, with more torque that can be better controlled for smooth delivery. Jeep has already shown prototypes of an electric Wrangler, the most recent being the Wrangler Magneto 3.0 Concept, which debuted at this year’s Easter Jeep Safari. The Wrangler Magneto 3.0 boasts 650 horsepower and 900 pound-feet of torque from its custom electric powertrain, complete with extreme off-road capability.

But the Wrangler EV is still in development, and other electric models like the Recon and high-performance and luxurious Wagoneer S are slotted to come to North America sooner. But Wrangler EV will get here eventually.

30k Jeeps Took Spring Break At Daytona For Jeep Beach Celebration

Gary from Dixie_Overland and Julieanne from WranglHers were at the event.

“The Jeep community is as strong as I’ve ever seen it,” said Jim Morrison, senior vice president and head of Jeep North America. “Our fans have always demonstrated an unparalleled love for the brand and are incredibly passionate about their Jeep vehicles. We saw well over 230,000 Jeep brand enthusiasts throughout the week, and with over 30,000 Jeep 4×4 SUVs on site, I don’t think I saw any two the same.”

Morrison led the Jeep Beach Parade, piloting the Wrangler Magneto 3.0 EV Concept, which the brand introduced earlier this year at the annual Easter Jeep Safari in Moab, Utah. If the name didn’t give it away, this is the third Magneto iteration, with the latest getting a new two-stage power regen mode. Its single electric motor is driver-adjustable, making between 285 and 650 hp.

The event brought many people to Daytona, but it goes beyond that. The event also gives back to the community. Since 2012, Jeep Beach has donated more than $2 million raised through the event’s weeklong fundraising efforts. Processed are donated throughout central Florida counties.
