Episode 810 – Interview Trent of Centerforce
Trent McGee
Trent has spent the majority of his career living and breathing off-road. From being a Technical Editor of Petersen’s 4Wheel & Off-Road magazine in the 1990s to a longtime freelance writer ever since, Trent has also served as the Marketing Director for several notable off-road brands, including Superlift, Daystar Products, and most recently Centerforce Clutches. The vast majority of his vehicles have been manuals, and all of them have been equipped with Centerforce Clutches. Trent has built a number of vehicles over the years, including Toyotas, Blazers, Jeeps, and most recently, a Scout 80. In addition to the Scout, there are currently three Jeeps in his personal stable, including a 1997 TJ rockcrawling buggy, an ’84 CJ-7, and a ’47 CJ-2A. Trent is also fortunate enough to be one of two people that has been on every single Ultimate Adventure since the event inception in 1999, serving as participant, crony, and most recently staffer, where he has handled the route planning and guiding for the trip since 2017. Trent also leads the Centerforce Adventure Run, an overland trip now in its third year.
