All-New 2025 Jeep Cherokee?
I thought it was dead!
This year, the marque has premiered two major facelifts – for the 2024 Wrangler starting at $31,995, which is way better than the 2024 Tacoma’s $40,455 MSRP or 2024 Ford Bronco’s new Big Bend base ($39,130). And there was also the 2024 Gladiator – which is still waiting for pricing details in the online configurator to see where it stands against the 2024 Tacoma, Colorado, Canyon, Ranger, Frontier, or Ridgeline foes.
That was not all, as Stellantis allowed Jeep to kill off the little $28,445 Renegade adventurer, effectively leaving the cheaper $25,900 Compass as the entry-level option for enthusiasts of Jeep crossovers. No worries, though, as more novelties are coming – including the all-new sixth-generation 2025 Cherokee if we are to believe the rumor mill and the imaginative realm of digital car content creators.
Moving on, we suspect that Jeep will try to reposition the next Cherokee a little better in the lineup – and by that, we mean it will hopefully be a little cheaper. Currently, there’s a very odd situation in Jeep’s lineup – the larger two-row Grand Cherokee starts from $36,495 for the 2024 model year, whereas the older 2023 model year Cherokee kicks off at $37,695. That’s $1,200 more for a smaller vehicle, and it’s pretty darn obvious why people aren’t paying the extra bucks, right?

We’re only a few days away from completing our 13th year of the Jeep Talk Show!
Episode 1 was little more than a test. All of the first episodes were streamed online.
Josh joined early on and doing the show was much more fun!
We’ve tried several different things and several different people.
Before our interview with the CEO of Hellwig, I mentioned to Melanie that Cody from TrailChasers was first on the Jeep Talk Show.
We end 2023 with over 2.5 million downloads!
At the time of this recording, we have had 440,000+ downloads!
Show hosts! Josh has to leave to focus on expenses, Chuck, Wendy, and Larry have been here to entertain and inform. Recently Chip has joined in as a guest host. We plan on doing more of this in 2024.
Chic Chat has been huge! Julieanne Wranglher and Wendy have done a great job out of the shoot interviewing women in the off-road world.
Jeep Talk Show as a group of volunteer Team Members! Advising the show and going to events to represent the show. This is huge, and very much appreciated. I hope you enjoyed the many videos that the JTS Team took at SEMA this year. Great audio, great video and great people to hear from!

2023 has been a great year.
As we get ready to wrap up 2023, I would like you to reflect on some of the wheeling and events we attended this year.
We were lucky to start the year in March by going to EJS.
If you haven’t been, you need to put it on your list. We got to wheel with several people from the JTS group. It was over a week-long trip that had a couple nights camping, and a couple nights in a hotel. I doubt I’ll get to go this year.
Then we got to attend the Toledo Jeep Fest now that’s a different event with no wheeling but it shows you other ways to enjoy your Jeep. I’m having a pretty cool parade there got to meet up with several of the JTS group as well.
We also got to attend the JTS event in Texas at Hidden Falls off-road park. That’s always a good time. They do a great job of keeping up the park.
On the way home I Got to have an interesting ride when I blew through a brake line.
We did get the wheel with Chuck at his place and got to find out that Kansas has a few more hills and I thought it had. Also had a little campfire Cooking.
And just like at the Texas event, and the evening of Bullshitting around the campfire. Telling the same lies we all like to tell.
We didn’t get to do much more wheeling than that over the year. But we did get to go to the Sema show, no wheeling there but we did get to meet up with more of the JTS group.
Might have had some good German food and beer there as well. Always had a good time with the JTS group.
I started co-hosting here on the show also.
On our YouTube channel JeepingMo, We made 133 videos on either wheeling or fabrication and hit 1m views.
got to work with some amazing sponsors like Nexen and Rock Mount Welding supplies, we put the Nexens through some wheeling tests and they did great. And got to weld some interesting new materials with Rockmount Research and Alloys, and I was able to do a video with Harbor freight at one of the local stores.
Hopefully, there’ll be more to come with that.

We even started a Dodge truck build.
This year makes me hopeful that 2024 will be full of more great times with old friends, and hopefully make more. That’s why I do all of this. For me is more about time with friends than time on the trail.
And hopefully, some new places to see and wheel in 24.
