the point it freezes, the metal does all kinds of weird shit when that slide valve is. And you end up not being able to turn it off or not being able to open it up. And you’ve got to manually kill your power tank at the valve and wait for everything to kind of warm back up. And it was not a good solution, right? And it wasn’t a good application. Maybe that’s a better answer. Do the hoses get cold? I mean, is this something you could loop around a beer and then cool your chill, chill your warm beer?
(Explosion)
(…)
the whole more quite so soft and you mean literally freeze because of the yes oh okay because the compression of the gas like the moisture the problem is is that the point it freezes the metal does all kinds of weird shit when that slide valve is and you end up like not being able to turn it off and or not be able to open it up and you’ve got to manually kill your power tank if about or wait for everything to kind of warm back up and it was it was not a good solution right it wasn’t a good application maybe that’s a better answer do the do the hoses get cold I mean is this something you could loop around a beer and then cool your chill chill your warm beer so my probably my power tank closes and everything gets cold by the time I go from six PSI which is what I typically wheel at up to you know 28 or so which is street pressures my even my power tank lines are starting to get cold but they still offer so it’s an application I get it well I’m not I shouldn’t be trying to not more play but for my application it didn’t work Ricks they did it works works great for Rick system all right is that something that they I mean I probably should get Tyler back on here to talk about this about the more flight system but is that something that they recommend that you do not do you do not use it with a compressed air tank or compressed nitrogen tank etcetera I think it’s just the pressure the pressures the CO2 like I don’t know what it is they they specifically said it’ll work with the power time when technically it will but you have to detune that power tank so much you did say that it was the pressure level and I thought was confused by that because I remember talking to Tyler about it and I hoping we’re getting his name right I remember talking to him about it and he was talking about that was the issue with the compressor is the compressor is designed that you need all those hoses hooked up you can’t just run one hose because it will damage the compressor I believe that’s what he said so it really is designed to inflate or deflate all tires at the same time I just think they should have gone with red but that’s just me well that’s what you get they have a system called torus lighting or something that uses the red lines I guess it’s the exact same thing it’s like a real problem at mortally kind of thing but I mean the issue wasn’t the amount of lines it was the valve itself the valves were kept freezing out the slide valve but that opening was in process to it’s a part of the system that’s what kept freezing out of the thing so the other side of that was(…) every time you want to use it you got to unfurl four tables that’s the thing it gets me I mean I understand there’s a lot of time involved and go into each tire but I’m thinking you’ve got a project project one is sitting it up and project two is wrapping everything back up and putting it away I mean if you somebody timed it it probably is it probably is about the same or faster but it just seems like a lot of effort for me and my wife it actually is pretty handy but we we usually just use I mean we have we each have our own set but we usually just use one and we’ll just you know lay it out on one vehicle and air up that vehicle and then when we air up the other one we just kind of flop all the hoses from one to the other so we we parked nose to nose but then I also we also got a pretty good system between the two of us and it doesn’t take us but a couple of seconds to wrap everything up I figured when you said you and your wife I went oh that’s perfect you undo it hook it up and use it and then just switch it over to the other the other g yeah but no you got two you got oh okay I was gonna say if you got two systems we have we have two but we generally okay because I can see that’s saving time actually where it’s already out and you fill up the air on another jeep um so we’ve done the same thing for helping like helping somebody else that doesn’t have something and I’ll just tell them to park nose to nose with one of our jeeps and then we just you know do both at the same time and it sounds like a cool it sounds like a cool system and I just I just remember that you the the compressor showed up at uh

the doing production runs and the goal is that I actually put in for 200 sets that I want to bring down the Smoky Mountain Jeep invasion. I was just gonna ask you about that if that was gonna be a thing where if people are going they can see them and buy them.(…) Yeah they’ll be able to buy them at Smoky Mountain Jeep invasion they’ll also be able to buy them on our website but I’ll actually have them at Smoky Mountain Jeep invasion before we even launch them on the website. Well I mean it’s really cool when you can actually see them because it’s so nice to be able to actually look and touch and smell and get inappropriate with these things before you buy them so I think that the Great Smoky Mountain Jeep invasion is great.(…) Yeah and part of these we made them it’s it’s a bigger pocket than what you find on the JL like the JL most of it is very very tight to the seat right and then then it has the cup holder built in these you know they extend out from the door a little bit more so they’re Oh it looks like there’s a lot of storage on there yeah. Yeah there’s a little bit more storage and then instead of incorporating the cup holder into it we we did the molly both front and rear because people with a JL know that they have molly on the rear but not on the front so on these there’s molly on the front and the rear and so if you choose to want a cup holder then you can buy… Get the unofficial use only garbage can yeah. Yeah the twisted molly lock cup holder which you know these are machine washable and they’re flexible but this just attaches clicks in and you have a cup holder and you can put them front and rear and the nice part the reason we made a machine washable and put the little holes in the bottom is kids you know if kids right or even adults because I know when I’m off-roading if I were to have a can of Mountain Dew in here it’s gonna spill. It’s gonna get sticky.(…) It’d be real nice to just throw it in the wash. Absolutely. Well that’s really cool. This fits everything from your regular 12 ounce can all the way to your wife’s Yeti you know because it’s flexible. Yep and it’s grippy too so that’s the other thing it should hold hold in there so that’s great we haven’t talked about the the door pockets in a while so basically unofficialuseonly.com you can go over there right now for your JL and JT door pockets. Well and you can get some fancy apparel like the Jeep family tee which has all of the different Jeep grills on it and this is it’s it’s live art but these are all the different Jeep grills all the way down it. We’ve got that we’ve got some other stuff but we’ve been selling the grill the actual YJL grill we’ve shipped I think 35 of them now and I think we have three or four more to ship before we’re finally out of pre-orders and this week in the last six days we’ve sold three of the front bumpers. Well I see Derek’s on here and I’ve been seeing pictures on the Instagram of them showing off. Derek’s wife’s Jeep is gorgeous and the new paint job is killer. I was wondering what that was she was talking about the big smile that she had and it looked like a brand new Jeep I was wondering if you got painted I wonder where where Derek took it to get painted that’s it’s a nice job. It’s a beautiful color isn’t it? Is she happy?(…) She looks happy. Yeah well that’s why we ordered the black ears ago so we could so that way when I painted I wouldn’t have to do all underneath the hood and all that because it’s black so it doesn’t know that a root beer color or what is that?(…) Yeah that’s the sable brown metallic off the CJ.(…) Yeah that’s a gorgeous color. Now with staying up till 1 in the morning and painting that in the last few days just make sure you remind her and this is an inside joke so I’m not gonna say everything to everybody but give her a tap on the shoulder and remind her about that song she posted because it’s due. Oh shit I’ve been too tired to even worry about man this is crazy I’m out here now trying to get the TJ ready and Derek do you remember the Instagram handle where people could go and look and and see that that JL with the YGL grill and the new paint job but I don’t have it in front of me was it wrangler or something?(…) Oh at wrangled soul. Wrangled coal okay. Wrangled soul. So alright. Yep so just just look for a very nice looking Jeep and I now know I think I know a lot of people were talking about on discord today when they were saying snozberry because it kind of has a snozberry color to it.(…) Anyway that’s what’s going on there anyway we’ll get back to the the airing down I just we go off on these old tangents from time to time I wanted to bring you guys up today because I know lots of people have been really interested in getting the JK door pockets if you don’t know anything about the door pockets it basically replaces the net that’s on your your this on your door the the nets are horrible absolutely horrible and they they look cheap and turns out they are and Greg has developed these these door pockets that look factory they look like the ones that Jeep should have put on them to begin with dammit and they’re really nice so here soon as you heard they’ll be available JT JL and JK. Alright back to you. I’ll go on time out real quick because I see a lot of social media posts and people complaining or doubting like Greg’s pockets.(…) Really? I’m surprised. Hold me wrong they’re worried about the insulation process and the insulation process is simple and easy and it’s a factory part that you’re able to do yourself I mean it’s not math and science and difficult to do it is a simple process to have a factory looking better than product in the Jeep and the other cheap knockoff that I’ve seen left and right keep the net still there you know they screw this molly panel on top of it and to screw the screws to the plastic that that’s there it is so cheap and it’s so horrific on a $50,000 Jeep you’re putting this bullshit on your doors. Right Greg’s products are a factory option that you’re able to successfully I was gonna mention that because it’s available through JPP Greg can people order that on their Jeeps can they get it installed if they’re gonna if they’re getting a brand new Jeep can they just say you guys take that shit off that factory shit off and put on the the door pockets the unofficial use only door pocket. If they can go to any dealership in the country while any dealership in the world and they can specifically request it’s a Jeep performance part and it’s unofficial use only door pockets so any dealership in the country they can walk right up to the parts counter and they can request them and they can purchase them at their dealership if they don’t want to go on our website and buy them and it’s the same price they it’s the same MSRP through the dealership as it is through me so you know they’re more than welcome to do it and the dealer can install them so if if you’re getting ready to go buy a brand new Jeep tell your salesman look I want the Jeep performance parts on official use only door pockets installed on my Jeep before it even leaves the dealership and they can do it. Oh yeah I mean that’s the way to do it and it and the great thing about it is you can pay for those door pockets over the next seven years with the loan. Well yeah and with you know because they’re relatively cheap right it’s a hundred and fifty dollars oh yeah absolutely that oh fifty dollars plus the install time so if they’re paying over paying that off over five or seven years it’s probably gonna cost them thirty cents a month. I’m giving you a hard time.(…) So what are the prices on the JK door pockets or have they been set?(…) It’ll be the same. I didn’t want to price gouge anybody it’s a little more expensive than some of the Amazon stuff you buy but it’s a much higher quality product and it’s 100% made here in the USA. It’s so nice I recommend that 100% it’s very nice. It’s really fun to it’s really fun to even mention that when we originally set the price at 150 it was half the cost of some of our competitors. Yeah. DB8 made this stamped aluminum origami that you

is like 23 PSI because they’re stiff tires to get that perfect even wear.
(…)
And if you get to the point where you have that perfect even wear, your tire is going to last exponentially longer than normal. And it’s also going to become an active part of your suspension. If your tire’s aired up too much, it’s too stiff.
(…)
And it’ll wear off more in the center of the tire because your tire is crowning.(…) So it’ll wear your tire out a lot faster. Once you get that perfect even wear and the wear pattern is straight across,(…) your tire’s active suspension and your tire’s going to last longer because it’s distributing the load across more rubber. So it’s less aggressive to the rubber.
(…)
Like typically with a JK, we would see like a fully built JK that has bumpers and winches and 37 inch tires and aftermarket wheels,(…) we would see usually right around 28 PSI was the perfect tire for a BFG.
(…)
And what the factory says, because it’s a government mandate, the factory says that all SUVs have to be 37 PSI. So in a factory trim, they put 37 PSI in your tires because it’s a government mandate. And the government mandate started from,
(…)
some of us older ones will remember Bridgestone and what was that the Ford Explorer?
(…)
That was one of the first SUVs where they had major tire problems and it was based on(…) the tire pressure that they were sending from the factory and the quality of the tire. So the government stepped in and said, all SUVs across the world have to be at 37 PSI to be on
(…)
US roads.(…) But the weight of the vehicle doesn’t dictate that type of tire they put on them. So the weight of the vehicle versus the LT tires that they’re putting on them, which are light truck tires,(…) your tire pressure really is a big thing. At 37 PSI, you’re going to have more tire where you’re going to have more bump steer because the tire is harder. So when you hit potholes and other things, you’re going to get more of that twitch, which is your bump steer. If you actually chalk test your tire and you set them to where they need to be for your tire on your vehicle, they’re going to last way longer, like usually 60 to 70% longer.(…) And it’s going to ride better.(…) So chalk testing is a big thing. And I advocated a lot and I apologize that I just went on an eight minute change in about it, but it’s something that’s really important to me, you know, because I’m a cheap bastard and I want my tires to last as long as possible. I think we’re all cheap when it comes to tires because tires are really expensive. Glenn, do you think you might chalk test your tires now?
(…)
I’m probably going to try it. I mean, like I said, when you used to autocross, it was you mark the sidewalls with a shoe polish.(…) And when you autocross, you would go around and see how much it wears down. Let’s see if you use the full sidewall as much as you can. So I never heard about the chalk test across. So I’m going to try that out and see what happens. Yeah. And I do it. I mean, I honestly do it on everything once I learned about it, you know, which was probably 2004 ish. Every vehicle I’ve had, I’ve chalk tested the tires and I’ll do it usually about once every six months, because as the tire wears, the stiffness of the tire changes.(…) You know, even my wife’s Dodge Charger, I chalk test the tires to make sure that they have the right tire pressure so they last longer.
(…)
The first car I ever did it with was a TJ. So it was my 1998 TJ on 33 inch BFG all-terrains.(…) And my first set of all-terrains lasted me about 48,000 miles.(…) My second set, once I learned how to chalk test lasted me over a hundred thousand miles. Wow. So I doubled the life of them by becoming religious. I would chalk test them and then about once a month, I would actually check my tire pressure. And that was before we had monitors on our dashboard, which tell us what our tire pressure is. So with the new cars, the JK and the JL, it’s so convenient. Once you chalk test it and you know your tire pressure, you can set it, you can set it in the computer(…) and you never have to take a tire gauge and check it. You can just(…) touch the button and your dashboard will tell you that you’re in the right range.
(…)
And it’s amazing what only a few PSI will do. I’m curious about the chalk test. So what happens if you run into,(…) you know, say one tire says 24 PSI is going to be the perfect, but then you go and you do the chalk test on the other side and it says it’s 22.(…) So that might end up affecting the way it drives being pulling or something. No, well, so with the chalk test, it actually doesn’t affect it because you’re using the same wear pattern, right? So you have the same contact pressure on each tire.(…) And with, with the JK, I saw that a lot.(…) And even the JL,(…) if you do your chalk test with an empty gas tank, you might have less tire pressure on one side because the gas tank’s on one side.(…) So I usually do it at about three quarters of a tank on a JL or a JK, where on a TJ, you know, a full tank or three quarters of a tank because the tank’s in the back. So it all depends, but you know, a JK or a JL, you have the, the gas is on the passenger side of the vehicle, the battery’s on the passenger side of the vehicle. So there’s a lot of heavy components.(…) The difference is, is the driver, the reason that they put all the heavy Oh, balancing it out. That makes sense. Your side is because typically there’s one person in the car in today’s world. So the driver balances it out. Yeah. Well, the, the really fat jeepers might, you know, the bias might be on the other side. Honey, can you come out and sit in the Jeep? I’m doing a chalk test.(…) But that’s passenger. Especially for somebody like you, because, because you did autocross and you drove progressively, you probably, and I hate to say this about, you know, generalizing anybody, but you probably feel your car more than most people do. You can feel subtle changes and subtle road changes and everything else. So when you do it, when you actually do that chalk test and you change your tire pressure, you’re going to notice a huge improvement in ride quality and handling.
(…)
Yeah. I’m very interested to do it now. So I used to have a car. It’s really cheap. You know, you go to Walmart and you get a piece of, you know, play chalk for a dollar. I already play chalk. I got kids style. So Oh, I thought we were learning to steal their chalk. Exactly. That’s what you do. That’s, this is payment. So Rick, and the best is go find a big parking lot, like a big giant flat parking lot that doesn’t have a lot of ups and downs or bumps. And I’m going to buy a shoe. Yeah. If you can go like 200 yards, you know, click it into gear, get it up to three or four miles an hour, click it into neutral and let it roll to a stop. Because when you hit the brakes, it changes the attitude. But when you really get that perfect wear pattern, it will, it’ll feel like a whole new car. You’ll be, you’ll hopefully you’ll be really impressed. So Rick, I know I might actually do a four corner scales on it just to see if it adjusted it into, I think all that information is good to have. I don’t know how critical it is, but that would be, yeah, I don’t, I don’t blame you if you’ve got access to that. Rick, I know that you’re looking at tires and things. Uh, are you going to do a chalk test? I mean, have you done a chalk test before or after hearing this, do you think you may do that so you can see what airing down does for you? Well, since my Jeep is mostly stock, I just looked at the sticker inside the door.
(…)
Now, um, now when I get to, I get my new tires, I’ll probably, uh, yeah, I’ll do the chalk test that I’m interested in it too. And it makes sense. Cause you know, there’s no way that all four corners of your Jeep ways the same. I mean, even in a TJ as light as it is, you know, you’ll be pretty surprised that it,(…) because of the overall weight and because you only have four contact patches,(…) it, it relatively evens itself out. Usually you might be bias.(…) Um, I think some of the biggest bias I’ve ever seen is about two PSI side to side, but, um,(…) it’s, it’s pretty amazing. You know, like on Frankenbrute, cause I’ve, I’ve ran several different tires and it is a very heavy Jeep. The pit bulls 22, 23 PSI, but with BFG all terrains, I’m like 27 PSI. Um, you know, and it’s just, there’s a big difference. It really surprises you how much of a difference it is from tire to tire, you know, from, from tire manufacturer to tire manufacturer. And then even LT tires versus D rated or C rated or, you know, VR rated, they they’re all different. So it’s, it’s worth chalk testing because if you can double the lifespan of your tires,
(…)
yeah,(…) makes sense. I think your mic might’ve just, uh, lost charge or if you’re doing something different cause your audio stopped, uh, Greg. All right. So, um, when you go out and do things, oh, I think somebody was calling him or something. So whenever you go out and do things, uh, does, does anybody, uh, I think airing down when you’re on the beach or in some very sandy environment, uh, do you guys air down, uh, before you get into the sand or after you’re stuck?
(…)
Air down with the trailhead with all the cool people. Well,(…) I mean, I don’t know. Do you ever go to the, go to the beach? I mean, that’s a bit of a drive for you, John. I typically take the airplane.(…) Oh, that’s right. You go to Florida. Yeah. Why aren’t you in Florida right now? I mean, this isn’t this Florida time for you. No, that’s June. We’re too close to hurricane season. This is a mirror. So it’s what you better go. Gotcha. So you already been. All right. I got you. No, I, I, you air down like someone said earlier about comfort on that with it. This is going to be a gravel road. I know I’m going to be on it for a really long time. I’ll still air down at least a little bit because your tires are the first part of your suspension.
(…)
That’s where the first thing that’s going to help, you know, dampen the jolt and the balance and everything else. So it’s another reason why we like some of the sidewall our tires. So you get that, that extra padding, whatever. But if I’m hitting the dirt road, I’m going to be on it for a long time. I may not go down to six PSI off that big trail, but I’m definitely going to come, come out of there with the pressures. So that’s part of the beauty of having an onboard air system is you have that plan up stereo, you know, adjusting it. So couple that with adjustable shocks. And we’ve got a lot of long talking senior concern to be comfortable. There’s all kinds of adjustments. Yeah. There’s all kinds of adjustments you get going on on your Jeep. Absolutely.(…) Those fat boys like to be comfortable. I mean, we don’t hike. That’s why we have Jeeps.(…) So, you know, you’re going to be comfortable when we’re out there on the, on the trail and be the way air pressure is like number one. So I, I actually switched to bead lofts just so I could go down to the seal digits without worry. I know you don’t have to those tires out there that will yield, excuse me, allowing you to get pretty low pressures, even without the locks, but like I just, I knew I wanted to get down to that six, seven range and just pay a lot of sun sales. Yeah. Why, why mess with it? If why worry about breaking a bead, if you can just put bead locks on there, I think that’s a good idea. Have you done a chalk test on yours, John? I don’t think I did something similar. Instead of using chalk, I just use a water hose and try concrete. He’s going to have to have as much to clean up. Well, let’s say exact principle. You’re just looking at the, the tread pattern on the ground, was you going to as you pulled forward or anything else at all. Did you have to make an adjustment during the test or was it, was it right?(…) You can see that it was right. Actually, so one of the things you don’t realize, or at least I didn’t realize is that you’re going to the bigger size tires. Like I’ve already 38. You don’t need that 32, 33 PSI. Like you don’t, we don’t have to go up that high to be right. So I actually had too much in mind. I was kind of pounding with the middles.(…) So I, I found that the 28 was about right. So I have read so that you don’t just do it once and done.(…) As you’re kind of tires are wearing in as you’re kind of messing your Jeep out and taking it off. If you’re loading up to go out on a big trip, you’re adding a bunch of beer and supplies and you buy one of the chocolate before you get out. Even though you may have chopped it full door into a local park and you didn’t have all the gear in there, that weight’s going to make a difference. So, right. Well, that’s what, that’s what Greg was talking about that even after over a period of time, the tie wearers and things change. So it’s not a one and done type thing. That’s a good point. Well, I like that. It’s like your balance your tires. You don’t just balance them once. You have to do it later down the road too and check them. I know the water test, like I said, it’s the same thing. It’s just less messy, easier, easier to poke. You just need some dry concrete with water blows. Yeah. So I mean, do you have to let the tire dry off? I mean, you let, maybe you let air out and now you need to check it again.(…) Do you, I guess it really, it really just requires a lot of concrete, dry concrete, so you can see what’s going on. Yeah. Where I’m at, it’s easy. It’s Texas. I mean, it’s dry within a minute or two. Right. So I mean, it’s not, yeah, very true. It really never had an issue with operating water, you know, sticking around right off. Yeah.(…) Travis, I don’t think you mentioned, do you, do you air down and then is it different? With a diesel vehicle? Because I think the diesel is a lot heavier up front than it is in the rear.
(…)
I do always air down and I’m usually anywhere from 10 to 12 on my Nexins, which have done well, but I will say when I air up, I’m typically aired up to around 35. And as we speak now, I’m taking them all down to 29 just because I’ve not tested chalk, tested, done anything along that line.(…) But the reality of it is I agree with everyone knowing that and I’ve just been hard headed or get it said 37. And that’s what I needed to do. I never took it at 37, but yeah, you always air down, always air down off road sand. It doesn’t matter what it’s for, why you’re there, you’re going to be better off. But I 100%(…) Tony, have you air chalked yours and got your lines because I think we’re running the same tires. I have not 35. Yeah. No, I’ve never chalk tested. I just put what I think should be in there and run it. And what is that? I do 35 on the Nexin, not Alter range, the Nexin, Rodeon MTXs, 35 12 and a half by 17.
(…)
And then when I take it off road, I have the automatic deflators from, oh crap, I want to say Phoenix, but that’s not right. But anyway, I’ve got the automatic tire deflators and they’re set for 14 PSI. And I go a little lower.(…) I’ve had it, yeah, set pretty much the same as you,(…) but I think I’m going to, well, I’m taking it lower now and we’ll see how it runs to work tomorrow.
(…)
And I was talking about air earlier and installing my via system with good insight from Greg. Coyote, I think is what you get. Coyote, thank you. Thank you. Coyote. Exactly. That’s a, it’s really good, really cool. He, and he wants to know what, what PSI you want and he sets them for you. They can be changed obviously, but he sets them. And I don’t know if everybody notices or not earlier. And I think Travis did this on purpose because he knew I was going to give him a hard time. He’s got that TV in his garage set up and he had something on there that wasn’t the Jeep talk show. And I was like, what the hell man? You’re not alive currently though. That’s an old. Yeah. Yeah. But now, but now he’s got it up there. So he’s thinking ahead. He, I’m in Travis’s head. I just, thank you, Travis. I really appreciate you putting that up. I honestly wanted it live tonight. So while I’m walking around the shop or like Greg’s walking around the shop, you know, you can look up and see, Oh yeah. Cause I don’t look at my phone, but you’re currently not live. No. Well, you know, we, we, we can’t do that because, uh, the, the YouTube doesn’t like the, the gay porn coming out on the live video. So even on XJ, cause I thought we changed channels from XJ or from Jeep talk show to XJ talk, which is I’m on now. Right. But I mean, if they, if, if they can risk it, yeah, if they, if they do it while we’re alive on XJ talk, uh, LLC,(…) then that channel would be taken down as well.(…) So when saying Travis is stop putting gay porn up when you’re live on the show. Yeah. Yeah. What you do in the, uh, in the, in your own garage is your business. Uh, but, uh, yeah, I mean, I have, I’ve thought about it. I did like the live aspect of it. I know several of you guys like, uh, having the ability to monitor the show while you’re actually in the zoom meeting. And I thought about one thing that we could do would be to, uh, close anybody joining after the show starts and then, then we wouldn’t have to have that issue. Close it 10 minutes in, you know, or, or have its own Jeep talk show, uh, channel. You had the waiting room. You had the waiting room. I mean, that would have worked too. Well, but, but somebody has to monitor that and there’s really no way of asking them, are you going to be doing gay porn? Oh, no, I’m just new. And I just want to be here. You can trust me. Well, this may, you know, I don’t know. It’d probably be a pain in the ass, but to keep track of the people that come in, but you could do like, you know, so many episode, you know, viewer only. I mean, if they come back more than once, chances are they’re not, you know, if they sit around for just the viewer portion only, you know what I mean? Because I’m sure they can, they can listen and view in the waiting room, right? They just can’t contribute.(…) Well, it’s the, let’s put it this way. It is a lot of work to re upload a batch of videos and it is a real pain in the ass, um, to, to lose all that hard work. So in the big scheme of things is just not worth it. Uh, I may, I’ll be always the pricks that, that’s screwed up for everybody. Yeah. Uh, and, and, and, and again, to me, uh, it was just a hit job because there’s no way YouTube’s going to be monitoring it close enough for them to take the, the channel down within 20 minutes of the, the offense and the, especially when the offense lasted five or 10 seconds. So before we got them off, I was going to add one thing to that tire patch thing or, uh, with the chalk testing, um, there’s only one tire that I’m aware of that I’ve utilized so far that that does not work for, and it’ll actually make the tire wear out faster. And that’s them goddamn miles to our Patagonia. If you chalk test them, you’re going to get down into the twenties. And unfortunately, my wife ran hers down there for quite a while because of the comfort level, but they’re also now cupping really bad. Yeah. Aren’t those supposed to be crown tires? Like they’re, that’s why, yeah, that’s why it doesn’t work because they’re supposed to ride on the high crown.(…) All right. So we’ve made some changes. Uh, and I’d like to try ask Grog again, and you guys tell me if we should just dump this, but I think having it work properly is going to make a big deal. I think the, on the last episode we had the issue with it not understanding what we were asking. So I’ll just show that I think we have it working now. Grog, what is scrub radius? Scrub radius is the distance between where your Jeep steering axis hits the road and the center of the tires contact patch. You reckless fuck too big and your rigs twitchier than a squirrel on crack.
(…)
I think that’s the exact quote from Greg. I think Grog is paying attention to what Greg is saying. So does anyone tell her to give a short answer? Yeah, it’s amazing. Isn’t it? So, uh, does anybody have a question for Grog, please. One at a time and no wagering blue, you dumbasses. What the hell do you want to know? Spit it out. How’s the Jeep? How’s the race? What about Jeep invasion looking this year?(…) The Jeep invasion in 2025 is going to be a goddamn shit show. You filthy gear head picture thousands of bikes circle jerking over lifted Wranglers and shiny mods at events like the great smoky mountain Jeep invasion, August 21st to 23rd, where 50,000 nut jobs swarm pigeon forage for vendors trails and a show and shine. That’s basically a beauty pageant for mud caked rigs. It’s like Chuck never left. Land down hill.
(…)
Oh, you mean Chuck still hanging around like a bad rash at a nude beach. The Jeep invasion in 2025 still got its foot on the gas. No downhill slide here. Just pure muddy chaos at Lecance center. Does anybody else want to hazard a question for, for Grog?(…) Hazard? You mean like life or death, Jeep shit, or just fucking around? Hang on there, Grog. We’re waiting for somebody to ask a question. Fine. I’ll twiddle my virtual dick while we wait. Who’s got…
(…)
Anyone? Anyone? Nobody else wants to give it a try? All right. I’ll go. Because I actually asked… A collar for a Jeep.
(…)
Jesus Christ, what a bunch of limp dick cowards. Fine. I’ll start the fucking party. Ask me about the nastiest Jeep trail. You’ll wreck your rig on or I’ll shove a winch up your ass and call a fucking party. All right. That’s good. Okay. Go ahead with your question there, Dan. All right. Did I actually ask a computing tool the same question?

What is the preference between Dynatrack ball joints and American iron ball joint deletes?
(…)
Dynatrack ball joints are rebuildable, greasable, and sealed, making them better for longevity and wet environments. But they’re pricier, and some users report wear issues after 40,000 miles.
(…)
American iron deletes use spherical bearings for strength, great for off-road brawls, but might squeak on pavement and need rebuilding every two years or 30,000 miles.
(…)
That’s not too bad. I mean, you know, 30,000 miles. I had that problem with the synergies. I got like 40,000 out of them, and they were shot.(…) Could have been me, but I don’t think so. According to my mechanic, I got a squeak coming out of my teraflexes, and they’re only a couple two and a half years old.(…) So it seems premature, but now I start looking again.
(…)
All right. Which teraflex ones do you have?
(…)
The newer ones. Well, actually, one of them actually rotated, it looks like, and tore one of the grease fittings off the top, but it’s the newer teraflex HD ball joints.
(…)
Because I’ve got the adjustable ones. Yep, those are the ones I got.(…) Yeah. I did have a little squeak. They needed to be tightened up. They were have a little issue, but every time I’ve taken it in for an alignment or anything, they immediately call me and tell me I need a new ball joint. They got to replace him right away. And I’m like, no, you need to tighten them. If they’re loose, you need to tighten them. And when I checked them, I believe they were within spec. And then they’re like, Oh yeah,(…) just needed an adjustment. Nevermind.(…) Yeah. They were sad because you knew what was going on. There’s those damn two millimeter set screws that don’t want to come out and they just stripped out on me. So,(…) so that ain’t going to happen.

All right, everyone. That’s a wrap for this week’s Jeep talk show round table. A big thank you to all of our zoom participants. You guys make this so much fun and informative every week. Remember, you can join us again next Tuesday at seven 30 PM. Please, please bring your own tools so you can drop them while we’re doing the show. But you can join us at seven 30 PM central time for more Jeep talk, random questions, and always a few rabbit trails. Don’t forget to visit jeep talk show.com slash contact to find out how you can be part of the conversation. And we’ll, I think we’ll do ask rock again next week. So if you’ve got a question for grok, and I’ll tell you, I thought about this earlier. We have a voicemail line. If you would like to call into our voicemail line and ask rock a question, I can play it to grok and, and have, and play it here on the show for you to listen to. So, you know, some people can’t make it to the, to the round table. I’ve heard from several people that this, that their hours, the, their, their job, whatever their sleep pattern doesn’t allow them to join the round table. So this would be a way for you guys to, to be involved in. Doesn’t that just have to be asked rock. You can call in and make a comment or ask a question of the group and we’ll play it here on the show. All right guys. So become a Patreon subscriber and let grok chew your ass up.
(…)
We’ll see if that’s a, if that’s a good thing or not, but I think it’s funny and it kind of reminds me of the restaurant that you go to where the waitresses and stuff(…) are rude to you. So it’s like the rat bastard thing. I’ll look at all over again. All right guys. Thanks a lot. Have a great night. And we are going to return the round table to normal use for you guys to talk about whatever the hell you

So one thing that we really wanted to cover because we get questioned about it all the time is tire pressure. Tire pressure plays a big role in not only how you contact the earth or contact the pavement, but how it rides and handles because it’s actually an active part of the suspension or it should be. We hear all the time, what’s the best tire pressure off-road? And then you see all these things on the internet and everybody has a different answer. Do you have beadlocks? Do you not have beadlocks? You know, so we wanted to break it down a little bit and really show a little bit of the science behind tire pressure and the contact patch to the earth, which is where your tire hits the earth.
(…)
So the way that we conducted this test today took the vehicle and we jacked the axle up. So I lifted the tire off the ground and with a dirty tire, I set it down on a piece of paper. On full weight of the vehicle, jacked off. I even kind of shook the vehicle to make sure that it got a little stable footprint and then we jacked it straight back up. So the tire literally just went down and up. Jack off on each piece of paper at each individual PSI. We also took the vehicle outside at each individual PSI, parked on a rock and we went through all those PSIs. That way you could see what this tire does on a rock and how much force it started to grab with. At 37 PSI, we literally only had a little tiny piece of the tire touching the very top of the rock. And then as it went down from 37 to 27, there was almost no difference. You know, it was very mild. Once we got to 17, it started to take a little bit more shape, but definitely even when we hit, I think it was 11 PSI, you could see the difference from 17 to 11, how that tire wrapped around that rock. So at the lower PSI, it was really, really knuckled into it. Once we got down to five, I mean, it was squeezing it, you know, like it didn’t want it to get hurt. I typically run with these tires, about 25 PSI for the street off.
